Search and filter in Teams
Search for a message:
- Select the Search bar at the top of the Teams app.
- Type in message keywords and press Enter.
- When message results appear, toggle between Top results and Latest results.
- To view more message results, select More messages or select the Messages tab.
Filter message results:
- To filter your messages or notifications click this icon on the top of your chat or notification section:
- When you view the notification or message results, filter them based on a few different options by clicking the 3 dots and selecting the filter:
- To clear filters, click on the x next to the filter in the search bar:
Filters and searching are also available in the mobile app!
