Email Overview
Hello,
This series of articles is going to help you get through the M365 email migration. The same basic steps will need to take place on all devices you access company email.
Why are we doing this?
In preparation for our complete move to Microsoft 365, we have decide to split the workload and do it in 2 steps.
- Moving our Email to Microsoft 365 Email
- Moving documents and communication to Microsoft 365.
While in the beginning you will be using your new email inside of your remote desktop, you will use this account to login to the full solution in January 2022.
How do I do this?
This process can be boiled down to 3 easy steps:
Downloading Software: No download needed for software on Remote Desktop but will need to download appropriate software for mobile devices.
Logging out of existing accounts: You will need to log out or delete the current email account on your phone, your desktop accounts will already be logged out. There will be instructions for multiple mobile apps and Outlook for Mac and Windows.
Logging into new account: In you new Outlook app you will need to login with your new account credentials.
